
I finally did some test prints of the back patch I’ve been working on. It’s 9”x12”, making it the most complicated thing I’ve printed so far. Since I still mostly don’t know what I’m doing I haven’t made any sellable prints yet, but I’m putting it up for pre-sale so I know about how many to make once I’ve worked the settings out. Buying this is a contribution to the Buy-teenboystuff-a-relief-press-for-Christmas campaign. BUY IT!

I ran into some trouble printing this time around. The soft, comfortable king-sized pair of pants I printed these on turned out to be too soft and porous and absorbed the ink in a weird way that made the prints come out kind of hazy and uneven. But whatever. Free wifi ‘til I die. Buy one here!

Had another day of covert printing. I’m getting really good at looking like I have permission to be in the studio; I even give off the impression that I know what I’m doing, i.e. not trying to wash my hands with gamsol or anything. Week two patch attempt—delicious veggie pizza on whole wheat flax crust colored khaki. They’re about 5’x6’, buy one here for $2.50!
